Nokia will be back in India in May with the launch of Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and the new version of the popular Nokia 3310. However, We are not aware of a specific date as of now, but Nokia had announced that it will be back in Indian markets with the launch of upcoming Nokia phones in the second quarter of 2017.
But if the latest reports are to be believed, NokiaPowerUser has confirmed the possible release date of the already announced Nokia phones. The Nokia 3310 was speculated to be released earlier than the android line-up and the report suggests the same. As per the report, the Android smartphones by Nokia will launch by mid-May and the Nokia 3310 will be released a bit earlier.
Upcoming Nokia Phones to launch soon in India
As per the official information that came in the past, the feature phone 3310 and the smartphones will release around the second half of May or early June. But now it looks like the release of these phones has been preponed and will happen in May itself.
Also, the report suggests the release dates for markets except India as well. The Nokia 3310 is said to get released in Malaysia by the end of this month and the Android smartphones will be released by May in phases. But, the Russian market will get these upcoming Nokia phones by the end of April, making it the first market to get their hands on the highly awaited upcoming Nokia phones. The European markets will get these phones by early June.
The Nokia 3310 (2017)
The new Nokia 3310 sports an all-new body and looks charming. The Nokia 3310 (2017) sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and is set to come with a LED flash. Under the hood is 1200mAh removable battery, which promises to stay up to 22 hours with a standby time of up to 31 days. The new Nokia 3310 will come in Red, Yellow, Dark Blue and Grey colours. Also, the iconic Snake game was also launched at the event. The handset comes with a price tag of $51 (Roughly Rs 3300).
Nokia 3: Budget Phone
Nokia 3 is one of the upcoming nokia phones, which is a budget android device with a premium design that will only cost you $130 (roughly Rs 8500). The smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD screen, polycarbonate body and metallic frame on the sides. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and sports 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 chipset. It even sports a 16GB internal storage, up to 128GB microSD card support, microUSB 2.0 and NFC. Sporting an 8-megapixel camera on the front and back with a 2650mAh battery life.
Nokia 5: Compact Android Phone
The Nokia 5 comes with a 5.2-inch HD screen and sports a fingerprint sensor. Running the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, Nokia 5 sports Snapdragon 430 processor with 2GB of RAM. It also comes with 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. Nokia 5 has a 13 MP camera on the rear and 8 MP on the front, a Micro-USB 2.0, NFC. It even comes with 4G LTE support and sports a 3000 mAh battery. It comes with a price tag of $200 (approximately Rs 13000).
Nokia 6: Pure Android
Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass. Running the Android 7.0 Nougat, it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. With microSD card support of up to 128GB, the Nokia 6 comes with a 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP selfie camera. The Dual SIM Nokia 6 sports a 3000mAh non-removable battery and comes with $240 (roughly Rs 15600) price tag.
